Saturday and Sunday July 34th and 5th the Santa Fe Wine Festival takes place at El Rancho de las Golondrinas Living History Museum. You can sample New Mexico wines while enjoying a variety of food and entertainment. The festival is co-sponsored by the New Mexico Wine Growers' Association. Activities are scheduled both days between 12 noon and 6 p.m. To reach the ranch leave I-25 at exit 271 (La Cienega) head north on County Road 50F/Entrada La Cienega for one mile then turn left on Camino Capilla Vieja.
On Saturday and Sunday July 25th and 26th the 58th Annual Traditional Spanish Market will be held on the historic Santa Fe Plaza between 9 a.m.–5 p.m. The rich Hispanic culture of Northern New Mexico will be celebrated at the oldest and largest exhibition and sale of regional Spanish colonial art forms in the United States. The 2009 Market will feature 300 traditional Hispanic artists continuous live music and dance performances demonstrations and regional foods. It is a unique opportunity for visitors to enjoy a taste of New Mexico's vibrant Spanish culture both past and present. Admission is free to the public.
