Spring & Summer
in Santa Fe County

Santa Fe County is spectacular in Spring and super in Summer! Warming days begin to melt the snow-capped mountains and runs of warm and even hot days can be followed by an unexpected drop in temperature and a fall of snow. Snow gives way in hours or a day to renewed warmth and foliage begins to bloom, robins to hunt for meals and hummingbirds begin to appear, returning from their vacation in Mexico during our winter season. Stands of aspen in Hyde Park grow dense foliage and the ever-present blue skies and mild temperatures of Summer return. Sunsets like nowhere else abound. Hiking trails reveal breathtaking sights at every turn. Enjoy visiting modern art galleries, exploring ancient ruins, a leisurely afternoon cocktail or a pint of local micro-brew. Take in one of the lively contemporary music venues or simply stroll under star-strewn skies. Venture out for a green chile-seasoned meal at the surprisingly large number of 4 and 5-star restaurants throughout the area then end the day with a hot-tub plunge in cool mountain air. Santa Fe County truly is “The Real Santa Fe!” However you decide to spend your days and nights, you’ll always remember Spring & Summer in Santa Fe County.
